Incoming Mail Filter - SpamExperts

Getting Started

This guide will help you get started using your Incoming Filtering service from SpamExperts.

Configuring MX Records

To use Incoming Filtering, you need to point the MX Records for the domain to the SpamExperts Hosted Cloud routes.

They should be set as follows:

  • mx.spamexperts.com (Priority 10)
  • fallbackmx.spamexperts.eu (Priority 20)
  • lastmx.spamexperts.net (Priority 30)

No further configuration is necessary. An email will be routed through the SpamExperts Cloud System initially, Spam filtered out, and the resulting clean emails forwarded on to your local mail server. The SpamExperts system may take a few days to start learning who you receive emails from the most and which ones should be marked as not spam.

If you have any questions on what a MX Record is (your DNS Configuration), please let us know and we can help you out with this request. You can find more on MX Record / DNS here.
